- have high expectations of children and to provide varied learning experiences within a broad and balanced curriculum;
- provide a stimulating, attractive and interactive environment that promotes learning;
- ensure that all children have an equal opportunity to achieve their full potential - this will be achieved through positive action regarding culture, religion, gender, ability and aptitude;

- and to develop self esteem, respect and social skills enabling children to form positive relationships within school and in the context of a modern multi-cultural society.
We are a large three form entry primary split into Phases, each with its own senior leader. The school admits children from 3 years of age into its Nursery and the majority of our children stay until they finish primary education at the age of 11 years.
Our children are well behaved, imaginative and hard working. Our staff strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential by providing a rich and varied curriculum and ensuring their teaching matches the needs of needs of the children. We have very supportive parents who take an active role in school life.
Members of the Governing Body provide the school with a wide range of expertise. They act as critical friends, questioning and evaluating the management of the school as well as carrying out their statutory duties.
We are very proud of all that Clifton Primary School offers and we do hope you enjoy finding out more about us by exploring this website.
