Arts Week
Arts Week has become an annual event at Colmers Farm Infants School since 2005.
Each summer in early June, the usual weekly curriculum is set aside, and we all do art 'for art's sake'. Children have opportunities to experience many different techniques and media, and as you can see in the pages below, the end results are often quite stunning!
Alongside the art work produced following different themes; music, drama, poetry and dance are also interwoven into the week's activities giving the children the opportunity to experience first hand that being creative and 'arty' can be as diverse as you want it to be, and most of all accessible and fun!
