Extra Curricular Activities

At Colmers Farm Infants we take pride in the extra-curricular activities that we offer our children. On this page you can read about some of the clubs that we run - some of them for parents as well as children!

Book Bunch

Book bunch is open to all children every Monday lunch time. The children collect a pass from the librarian and then they can go into the library. When they arrive in the library they are greeted by Mrs Archer they can join in with a variety of fun book-related activities.

Computer Clubs

Every Wednesday, Mrs Shuter runs a computer club for children and parents together. The aim is to give parents an insight into the sort of activities the children take part in at school, and to give them ideas for helping their children at home.

Dance Club

Each year Miss Hooper runs a dance club for all the enthusiastic dancers in our school. The children love to try different genres of music and dance, and several members of staff join in too!

Gardening Club

Since buying our raised beds earlier in the Spring of 2009, we have been busy. We now have a Year 2 Gardening Club who have already planted potatoes, and lots of vegetable seeds.

During the Summer we will be tending our plants and removing any weeds that grow. Hopefully, we will be able to have a feast for the whole school before the end of term.
