School Profile
Following the passage of the Education Act 2005, governing bodies are no longer required to hold an annual meeting for parents or produce a governors' annual report to parents.
The report has been replaced by the school profile, which is designed for schools to communicate with parents about the school's progress, priorities and performance.

A New Vision for Mount Pleasant Primary School
The vision is what we are working towards, how we would like our school to be.
Working Together
This school opens its doors to its local and wider community. It invests in true working partnerships with its stakeholders. This school is the focus for groups (school workforce, governors, volunteers, parents, grandparents, neighbours, business, community and outside agencies) who work closely together, for the benefit of all the children who come here.
Achieving Together
This is a school which fosters important values which are reciprocated in the local community with pupils demonstrating respect and acceptance of the views and beliefs of others. This school prepares its children to have confidence and self-worth. They are able to socialise and interact successfully with others in the local and wider community. These children achieve highly and sustain their learning as they pass through secondary education and beyond. The children here are a life-long asset to their community as a whole.
