Prayer for Peace

Please Lord,
Every day there is fighting,
All the time, someone is suffering,
Christ, help people to be friends with each other,
Encourage people not to fight.

Father,
Over the sea countries are fighting each other,
Rows turn into wars.

Our world needs peace,
Under your watch,
Rows still take place.

With your love they can be peaceful,
On earth, some people want power,
Riches are also what they want.
Lord, let them know how to live,
Do give our world peace.

At School, by...

• Always doing our best work.
• Being kind, helpful and generous.
• Speaking politely to adults, friends, teachers and everyone.
• Sharing and doing as we are asked.
• Behaving as we are expected to.
• Saying our Prayers.

... And in the wider world, by...

• Taking care of the environment.
• Looking after our families and friends.
• Helping charity and people who are less fortunate then ourselves.
• Being kind and considerate to each other.
• Spreading the Good News by actions and not just words.

Remember!...

We can be a witness and we can spread the Word of God by not just words, but by our Actions! We have to show people how to follow God.

A Prayer to God Asking for Help...

Dear God The Father,

I ask for your help in being a witness and spreading the Good News. Please give me the courage to show people how to be a witness themselves. Help me to stand up for what I believe in and to be a good follower of Jesus. Help me to be kind, helpful, considerate and polite to everyone.

A Prayer to Jesus

Dear Lord,

Please help everyone in the world to be a worker for the kingdom, just like Moses. We want to help people to be more like you and to help other people to understand that you are the light of the world and if they need help to turn to you. Please take care of all those who have died and those who are sick. Please help them to recover and to get well soon. In this month of November, help us to remember the Holy Souls. We also need some help to remember to pray to Joseph, as we don't often pray to him.

Last of all, will you give us lots of extra help to be more like you and Moses.
