Our School LogoWelcome to St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. We, the headteacher, staff, governors and pupils are proud of our school. We hope that you and your child will find this web site interesting and informative and that you will enjoy learning about our school and our aims.

We believe that parents are the first and most important educators of their children. The staff and governors of St. Mary’s therefore foster and encourage a partnership between home, school and parish so that together we can help each child to develop in a happy, secure, caring atmosphere.

St. Mary’s school aims to provide a community where everyone is valued for their own individual talents and personality.

We work together to achieve a high standard of education and behaviour through stimulating and varied teaching techniques - a place where children, staff, parents and community can come together to learn, to share, to grow and to make friends in the spirit of Christianity.

Please do consider coming to visit us at St. Mary’s school. We look forward to welcoming you.

Yours sincerely,

Ms Anne Maher
Headteacher

School Profile

Following the passage of the Education Act 2005, governing bodies are no longer required to hold an annual meeting for parents or produce a governors' annual report to parents. The report has been replaced by the school profile, which is designed for schools to communicate with parents about the school's progress, priorities and performance.
