Snippets of News!

World Book Day (March 2010)

World Book Day.

This year we had a bit of a different theme for our World Book Day – we all decided to dress up in our pyjamas and bring our favourite bedtime stories to school!

Miss Pinson’s class chose to do their assembly in the style of the Oscars but for books instead!

Foundation Stage and Year 1 Disco (9 March 2010)

Disco Fever.

It’s the season for our annual school discos again.

The Foundation Stage and Year 1 children enjoyed theirs on Tuesday 9th March.

Didn't we have lots of fun - especially Mrs Wright!

PTA Christmas Fair (December 2009)

Father Christmas with his lovely little helper Mrs Baldwin.

A wonderful evening was had by all.

The PTA raised over £2000 to support the school. Parents contributed a great deal for stalls and the luxury hampers that were raffle prizes. We were even visited by Santa's real reindeer!

Well done to the PTA for such an enjoyable and successful event.

Swimming Gala (November 2009)

St Peter's Year 4 Swimming Team.

During November a small group of year four pupils were fortunate enough to attend the Droitwich Spa Schools Pyramid Swimming Gala.

The children competed against local schools. Activities such as relay racing in pairs with a woggle or with a ball were all part of the fun.

The children had a really fantastic time and were a credit to the school.

Harvest Festival (September 2009)

Showing some of the Harvest contributions.

All the children went down to church to celebrate the Harvest Festival this year.

We all brought in a food contribution which will be given to help all the people at 'The Magg's Day Centre.'

We also brought in a money contribution to help with our second chosen charity 'FARM-Africa,' to give poverty the boot.
