Our Work - Reception

On this page you can enjoy some of the work done by our very youngest children.

Can dried pasta go through a water wheel?

Working together and taking turns.

Developing our fine motor skills.

This is a brand new design for a fire-fighter's helmet made by Jacob. He looked at lots of different materials to include in his design.

During our topic on 'ourselves' we looked at paint which we mixed into different skin tones. We then used it to make faces of ourselves.

During our topic on 'Things that move' we did vehicle repairs and made models.

A display of work created during Eco Week.

We were all very exciting to enjoy the first snow fall of winter.

A display called 'Feeling Hot and Cold'.

Artwork by Bick

A lovely colourful display called 'Our Flower Garden'.

Playing in the maths zone, and feeling very proud of our achievements.

Dressing up!

Relaxing in our reflection area.

Cameron drew a policeman (top) and Madeleine drew a teacher during our topic on 'people who help us'.

A display on Healthy Eating.

Learning about people who help us, we made puppets of postmen and models - like this flying police car and fire engine.

In one of our role play areas you can be seen by one of our special doctors!

Celebrating Pancake Day in Reception. "Yum, thes pancakes taste nice. Are there any more?"

A display on Jack and the Beanstalk.
