Special Event - Year 3 visit a Hindu Temple

On Friday 28th May Year 3 visited a Hindu temple in Birmingham as we have been studying India.

When we arrived we received a warm welcome and were asked to remove out shoes as a mark of respect. After talking about what Hinduism means and where it started we then watched a Hindu service. The priestess lit candles and made offerings to the deities.
